Day 6

We are finally out of Oklahoma, in fact, we also went through Missouri and Iowa and we are now in Illinois. It started when we finally got the Suburban fixed so no more Miami (until Florida). In Missouri we stopped at the George Washington Carver National Park where everyone, but me, is going to try to become a Junior Ranger. Personally I think that working hard just to earn a plastic badge is just not worth it anymore, plus it's becoming really cheesy and it's getting old. After that we drove right into a Thunderstorm. Every single time we thought it couldn't get worse, it did. Dad about called it quits when we stopped at Golden Corral for dinner, he even mentioned staying in the restaurant for the night because of the storm. Luckily (and because of mom) we kept going and made to Nauvoo. We are going to sleep in a tree house, well technically a house almost completely made of trees. It's next to the Mississippi River and it's a great house. So Good Night because it's almost 2 AM here.
See you later,
Hannah

Here's a video for ya, just a tidbit of the storm we accoutered.
