Day 5
Guess what. Today's My Birthday! YAY! But... we are still stuck in the so-called "Hometown of Route 66" look it up. We still had some fun, instead of a birthday cake I got a Birthday Donut from the Donut Palace. We went swimming making this my third birthday where we swam. For dinner we went to a Chinese Buffet where me, Dad and Brayden all tasted Frog Legs and it is by our unanimous decision... that frog legs are delish! After a bit of wandering about, we went to the theaters and watched The Angry Birds Movie. I both saw and didn't see everything coming. It was very interesting though the song at the end is kinda cheesy and the birds were soooooo gullible.

To add a few tidbits. Yes, we are waylayed hopefully for the last day. Yes, that is all of us dressed in Route 66 t-shirts that we got the hotel staff to take our picture. We have never looked so touristy in our lives! Yes, that is a picture of 6 kids in the back of the largest vehicle the dealership had to loan us while they work on the Suburban. 3 on the bottom, 3 on top. Tons of weird fun going on today. Though my skin is humidified fantastic, but my hair in untameable curly. Miami has been interesting. Just wishing we were stranded in Chicago or D.C. where there are 20 days of fun to be had. But enjoying ever minute with my family - God is Good.
