Day 4
So today was crazy and totally unplanned, all because of car troubles. We wound up in a place called Miami, Oklahoma (Mi-am-uh) which has absolutely nothing to do. Apparently there is something wrong with the brakes so we are stuck here until they get the part they need and put it in. Only problem is the part is in Missouri and they closed about 40 minutes before they got the car into the shop. So no St Louis for us. :(

Great food at The Ku-Ku, a local joint where they serve kids meals in cardboard Cadillacs. While Rob and Brayden took the Suburban in to be checked out (turns out we needed to get it fixed), the rest of us shopped at the local thrift shop and antique store. Picked up cassette tapes and cigar boxes, such terrific finds. Thank heavens we have a swimming pool at the hotel.
